Jackie Robinson Question Number 6

6. In my personal opinion I believe that Jackie Robinson did many great things for the advancement in Civil Rights. He endured an amount of abuse that many people would not be able to endure. He went through the abuse to be able to prove to people that he was an amazingly talented baseball player no matter what race he was. He never even reacted to the racist people that harassed him, he just let it go and that is much harder and takes much more courage than fighting back and reacting badly. I believe that Jackie Robinson is ranked number two as the greatest Civil Rights figure in American History and that the only person above him in that list would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr..
